leaving

No lock-in. Here's how you go.

Independence cuts both ways - the same reason we don't tie you in is why leaving is written down before you'd ever need it. 30 days' notice, either side, in writing (an email is fine). Here's exactly what happens.

what happens

Everything comes back to you.

  • Your domain and DNSYour domain is always registered in your name. If we hold your registrar login, we hand it back, and we move your DNS to nameservers you choose.
  • Microsoft 365We remove iterate's admin identity from your tenant. Your accounts, mail and files are untouched - they were always yours.
  • Your computersWe uninstall the monitoring agent from every machine. Nothing of ours is left behind.
  • Your backupsWe export your backup and hand it to whoever you nominate. The immutable offsite copies delete themselves once their 180-day lock expires - by design we can't remove them early, so a tamper-proof copy may briefly outlive your last day before it ages out.
  • Your helpdesk historyExported in full and given to you.
  • What we didA written record of every configuration change we made, yours to keep.

the promise

No exit fee. No penalty.

  • We help you moveNo exit fee, no penalty, no clawback. We aim to finish the handover within 10 business days of your last day, and we help you move rather than making it hard.
  • If something happens to iterateEven if we can't act, your data lives in your own accounts, not ours. A named emergency contact holds the runbook to hand your account to another provider.
  • Questions before you signHappy to walk you through all of this before you ever commit, not just after. hello@iterate.nz · 021 027 75346.
