Your systems should talk to each other.

Most small businesses run a handful of good tools (Xero, Microsoft 365, a job system) that don't talk to each other, so someone re-keys the same numbers all day. We connect them, automate the repetitive toil, and make the whole thing auditable. The same data, entered once.

in plain terms

Business automation and integration means connecting the systems you already run - Xero, Microsoft 365, your job-management tool and more - so data moves itself instead of being re-keyed by hand, and the chase, reconcile and report grind happens automatically. For a small firm it removes the invisible tax of copying figures between apps, re-typing invoices, and manually chasing approvals and updates. We map the repetitive, rules-based work you do every week, then build each connection as a one-off, reversible solution rather than a fragile chain that breaks silently. Anything that touches money or records is approval-gated and tested against real examples, so you stay in control. The point isn't to replace the software you own - it's to make it finally work together, and we'll tell you if a tool genuinely can't keep up.

Where the time goes.

  • Re-keying between systemsThe same job, invoice or timesheet typed twice, into one tool and into Xero.
  • Coding invoices line by lineBank rules underused or wrong, so every transaction still needs a human.
  • Chasing debtors by handNo consistent reminders, so cash comes in late and someone has to remember.
  • Month-end that eats daysReconciliation and a report pack assembled by hand, every single month.

things we've connected

A one-off solution, not a product.

Every integration is built to fix a specific problem, yours, and then it's yours. No platform lock-in, no subscription to us. A sample of the systems we've worked with:

  • XeroBank-rule and reconciliation automation, scheduled reporting, API links to other systems of record.
  • Microsoft 365 & EntraIdentity, accounts and security wired into the rest of the stack via Microsoft Graph.
  • Power PlatformSharePoint, Lists, Power Automate and Power Apps. Automations and apps that replace manual steps.
  • Job & field managementWorkflowMax and similar. Quotes, jobs and timesheets flowing to the books without double-entry.
  • REST & webhook APIsCustom glue between two systems with no native connector between them.
  • AI & document toolsLLM-backed extraction, drafting and summarisation pointed at a real, repeated task.

what we deliver

The grind, removed.

01

Integrations

Connect your systems of record so data flows once. Your job system or store to Xero, with no re-keying in the middle.

02

Bank rules & invoice automation

Reconciliation tuned to how you actually trade, so routine transactions code themselves and you only touch the exceptions.

03

Automated AR follow-ups

Consistent invoice reminders and statement runs that go out on time, every time, without anyone remembering.

04

Scheduled reporting

The monthly pack you actually want, pulled from your systems and rendered on time, not rebuilt by hand in a spreadsheet.

how we keep it safe

Nothing touches your live books without your say-so.

A bad reconcile or a wrong pay run is expensive and hard to unwind, so we don't gamble with it. We build and validate in a sandbox first, and anything that writes to a live system (Xero, payroll, your store) is gated on your explicit approval, reversible and logged. We read and report freely. We never auto-confirm a change to your records.

  • Built & tested in a sandbox first
  • Writes are approval-gated
  • Every change reversible & logged
  • Read-only reporting as the safe first step

common questions

Automation, answered straight.

What can you automate?
Manual re-keying between systems, invoice and reconciliation chases, status updates, recurring reports, approvals and reminders. If it's repetitive, rules-based and you do it every week, it's a candidate.
Which systems do you connect?
Common NZ SME stacks - Xero, Microsoft 365, job and practice management tools, CRMs, and most software with an API. Each integration is built as a one-off, reversible solution, not a fragile chain that breaks silently.
Is it safe - what if something goes wrong?
Every automation is reversible and approval-gated wherever it touches money or records. We test against real examples and keep you in control of anything that matters.
Do I need to replace my existing software?
Usually not. The point is to make what you already own work together. If a tool genuinely can't keep up we'll say so - and that's a separate build-what's-missing conversation.

Stop typing the same number twice.

Tell us which systems you run and where the double-entry hurts. We'll tell you straight what's worth connecting now and what can wait, usually starting with a safe, read-only reporting win. Often overlaps spreadsheet replacement. Most common with NZ professional-services firms.
